The vMBus 400E wireless Ethernet modem enables direct connection of the radio modem to the Ethernet network using the standard TCP/IP protocol.
Specifications. The device features a standard RJ45/STP connector that allows communication speeds of 10 Mbit/s. The unit contains three serial interfaces that can be operated in synchronous or asynchronous mode on a V.24-RS232 interface. The modem is enhanced by 2MB of DRAM.
Control. Using the service port, you can control the vMBus 400E with any asynchronous terminal from a PC. You have access to radio part parameters, communication parameters, serial port communication parameters, and service functions.
Diagnostics. You can monitor operations on the radio channel and serial ports. The modem provides log reports with information about the statistical and physical quality of operations. You can access call lists with information about packets received and transmitted, frequency, number, etc.
