vM-MIO is an intelligent remote terminal unit that combines the latest in wireless technology with low power consumption; to provide a reliable and cost effective means to remotely monitor and automate your applications in the oil and gas fields. It can be an expansion to the vMBus-XG486 Gateway or a stand alone. The vM-MIO is housed in an explosion-proof enclosure and is typically mounted at the process line (pipelines, gas lines etc.). It can be a single RTU or part of an integrated network to acquire real-time data for analysis and detect alarms, and can also be configured for remote automation of controls at remote sites. Customizable for a variety of applications and third party equipment. vM-MIO has been successfully implemented for wellhead, ESP, downhole gauges, and gaslift valve monitoring and control.
