vMonitor offers an array of services and products for end to end monitoring solutions and automation. We are a subsidiary of CAE and our Headquarters are in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We have offices in the United States, India, Oman and Kuwait, as well as a significant presence in Latin America, Africa and Asia. vMonitor has over 150 dedicated employees all over the world with an average of 15 years of industry experience. Some of our clients are Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), Kuwait Oil Company, Shell, PEMEX, Chevron, and Petronas Carigali. We are an ISO 9001company.

Our company got its start in 2000 after seeing a need for technology that could help oil companies manage their remote assets without the need for cabling or a dedicated power source. This gave birth to our popular vMBus series RTUs and Gateway, and the Total Access software that managed and displayed the data collected from them. Our first generation of wireless RTUs and Gateway solved the problems of cabling by using radios instead of cables to communicate, and the technology permitted the use of batteries or solar energy as the main power source.

The Concept  

vMonitor's concept of the Digital Oilfield utilizes our innovative monitoring and automation solutions that combine our cutting edge wireless remote terminal units (RTU), wireless gateways and data management software suite to help our clients make important decisions that improve production; allow them to control automated functions at remote sites to save cost and provide them with real time alarms to minimize risks.

We have implemented this concept of the Digital Oilfield to assist Petroleum Development Oman for many years to optimize their production and lower their overall CAPEX and OPEX by more than 30%. In Venezuela, PDVSA has reduced their operating cost by more than 20% and increased production due to Data Optimization by 15% of gross production after vMonitor implemented a monitoring solution recently. Our other clients have seen impressive returns on their investment after embracing the Digital Oilfield.
